BOARD OF ADVISORS

The Advisory Board of Scientific International consists of experts who have agreed to give meaningful help on a regular basis in many different areas, including Strategy, organizational development, technology, policy, and outreach. Their abilities, experience, and knowledge were selected for how they complement a particular project, or the organization as a whole.

The Board advises the Business Development team of Scientific International in its strategic decision-making process. They share an active dialog with a senior management.


Nirmala Kocherlakota

Born and raised in Hyderabad, received MSc in Physics (Gold Medalist) from Osmania University. Worked as Scientific Officer in Defence Metallurgical Research Labs for 7 years prior to moving to US in 1972. Received MS in Material science in 1973, worked for couple of testing labs prior to joining SPEX Industries in 1985. Travelled extensively through out USA and Europe giving technical presentations and conducting workshops for environmental laboratories Has published several papers and has just completed writing a chapter on Unceratinty Measurements for NIST. Retired as Vice President of Manufacturing after working for SPEX for 23 years and currently working as International Technical Specialist for SPEX.


Prahlad Parajuli, Ph.D.

Dr Prahlad Parapuji, an eminent scholar and scientist in the field of Neurosurgery, has done scholastic work in the field of biological research.

His arena in teaching is “Advance Neurophysiology”, and he has been imparting “Laboratory Trainings to Residents and Graduate/Undergraduate Students”. Dr Prahlad’s research area is “Tumor Immunology” which involved clinical and pre-clinical studies on mechanisms of immune suppression by malignant tumors and developing novel immunotherapeutic strategies for malignant gliomas — Systematic Comparison of Dendritic Cell-based Immunotherapeutic Strategies for Malignant Gliomas: In Vitro Induction of Cytolytic and Natural Killer-like T Cells. As a faculty member of the Neurological Surgery Department, Dr. Prahlad Parajuli, Ph.D., (Immunology) directed a multidisciplinary basic and translational research program in neuro-oncology, primarily focused on malignant brain tumors, with emphasis on pre-clinical research aimed at development of novel therapies (The Neurological Surgery Department at Wayne State University School of Medicine). Dr Prahlad’s book “Experimental Hematology” is an elite contribution in the field of medical science.


Ms Pankhuri Sharma is currently based at Canada. She was working with Phyaction, Delhi, India. She holds Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy from Institute of Applied Medicine and Research, India.

She is an Associate Member of Spinal Cord Society (Indian Chapter), Provisional Member of Delhi Counsel for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, and Provisional Member of Indian Association of Physiotherapist. She is a dietician and nutritionist also.
